Taking a Hiatus.
Hi everyone,
devLIT (https://www.deviantart.com/devlit) will be going on hiatus starting today, I will be closing all submissions for a while. I (WorldWar-Tori (https://www.deviantart.com/worldwar-tori)) am currently on a personal hiatus and as such it's hard for me to keep the group running alone at this time. Also I'd like to take some time to regroup and organize for a more active and running group rather than just submitting whatever.
During the original creation of devLIT (https://www.deviantart.com/devlit) it wasn't meant to be a submit and run group. This was back before @groups actually even existed. Our goal then was to bring writers together to inspire them, give them feedback and find a common ground for writers to gather at. With that, in
you and our literature community
Today I wrote in my own journal why I care so much about the dA literature community which brought upon a few questions I have for all of you writers... I want to hear from all of you on this one. No matter how active you are in this group and/or on dA.
You can answer as many or as few of these as you'd like, but I'd like to hear from everyone!
1.) what is your favorite thing about the literature community on dA?
2.) do you feel included in it, or do you feel like you're "pushed" or "left" out?
- how could that be changed?
3.) what is one (or more) things you'd like to see happen or improve within our literature community?
4.)
Monthly Challenge: should we continue?
Current Challenge: None
January only had a few entries, but February only had ONE!
I know 100 points isn't a ton; but it's something so we can do this every month, but we need people to participate.
If you're interested in participating please comment, if you're not, please let us know what sort of event you would be interested in?
There won't be a challenge for March; but I hope to resume in April if there's enough interest
About Challenges: You can write about anything inspired by the word, phrase, etc. given for the current month.
Pieces submitted into the challenge must be written within that month and can be written in poetry OR prose
