My dear favorite band,

How you get into my head and write my songs, I will never know. You probably hear that all the time. But it's so true, you realize. It's like these pieces are already sleeping in my soul and awaken only when I put your music on.

I've met you before; maybe you remember me. I was the girl with the tight bun, dressed in the 19th century clothes like some time-forgotten figure in the corner.      The word is ending and you may or may not care. Well....I guess this is the end for us all and you won't even take the minute to even read this goodbye I have taken time out of my short time remaining to write to you. Frozen BreadDear myself.

...The news today said that nobody can understand words anymore. So they used pictures, mostly, and a few sounds, to tell us the weather tomorrow and the day after that.

They showed us a crying person who wore faded clothes and no shoes and sat on a piece of driftwood, somewhere in the sea. And they showed us a man, a woman, and three children surrounded by snow, kneeling over a fire with a piece of bread in their hands. And then they closed the news station.

Today is June 14th, 2011. Time is 5:05PM EST time zone. Location is Ontario, Canada, on the planet Earth.

The world was supposed to end on May 21st, 2011, according to Harold Camping. Considering that I've delayed in writing a letter to myself for 24 days, I'm pretty sure I haven't been raptured or destroyed or been caught up in the apocalypse of the world. However, it seems that Camping was mistaken: the world, as we know it, will be destroyed/raptured/thrown into the apocalypse on October 21st of this year.

Thank you for protecting me my whole life. It has been swell. From my first solid food to this. But why now G-d? Why now? I mean, why couldn't the world end in one big sun death or maybe it not die at all? I mean, you are all might and powerful. G-d, I love you but people will stop believing in you. I haven't sinned much in my life but as a Jew, I know I will go to heaven. Besides, can I ask a few questions?

So the world ended.
Who knew a crazy guy could be right?  So if you're a survivor, congrats on… well…surviving, I guess.  If you're some weird race that deciphered this writing, then please don't think we worshipped Hannah Montana or Justin Bieber, even though we have hundreds of relics depicting their images.
So… advice so you don't screw up like we did.  Well, I would just make sure you guys are prepared for the next apocalypse.  I guess that's not really helpful.
